A connection to nature and love of the evocative, expressive qualities of colour and light are the foundation of what motivates me as a painter.
Often I let paintings develop slowly over time. They become multilayered, painterly, full of emotion and thought. Once completed the work remains open to what you, the viewer, may bring to it.
I’ve worked as a painter for many years, and am a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University). I hope you enjoy looking at my painting, it's always a pleasure to connect through my work.
